The MOFA IV Project, funded by WaterAid Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Japan, is currently underway in Rwanda. Launched on March 16, 2025, the project aims to improve access to clean water and sanitation in Kirehe and Bugesera Districts.

At the heart of the initiative is the construction of the Kagese Water Supply System in Nasho Sector, Kirehe District. The system spans 30.43 kilometers, designed to serve thousands of residents with reliable access to safe water.

The project includes the installation of six inclusive latrines and handwashing facilities, promoting hygiene and accessibility for all, including children and people with disabilities.
